The HRHCare event consist of social event, wine tasting and pair contest, silent auction and other fun activities which spotlight the local community supporters, farms, vineyards, restaurants and other businesses.
Founding & Managing Partners Barbara Tamberlane and Jerry Battipaglia attended the Annual HRHCare “Honoring the Hands” Fundraiser, held at Martha Clara Vineyards in Riverhead, NY, in support of the organization. The Farmworkers Health fund provides necessary health services to the migrant farmworkers population based on the East End of Long Island. Agricultural workers and their families often suffer from high rates of poor nutrition, asthma, and musculoskeletal conditions due to a lack of access to primary and preventive health care. “I’ve had a long-standing relationship with the team at HRHCare and enjoy attending the event each year and contributing in whichever way I can,” Tamberlane said. “We’ve built a true partnership with Anne, Dr. Chinea, and the rest of HRHCare leadership team to recruit the best possible providers, nursing, and clinical support staff to organization, expanding the patient population’s access to care. Even though there is always more work to do, it’s great to see everyone annually and celebrate the work that’s been done to move the organization forward.”
