A well-established community health organization in Westchester County is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife  

Compensation : $110000 - $125000

Job Function:

  • Provide services to patients of adolescent and adult age groups.
  • Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm schedule  
  • Obtain, review and complete medical, family, and obstetrical history and physical data on OB patients.
  • Provide antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care to patients with uncomplicated pregnancies.
  • Perform obstetrical exams and record findings.  
  • Assesses patients and prepare a plan of care.
  • Order, evaluate, and review appropriate laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
  • Participate in labor and delivery coverage and deliver gynecological care, but role can be strictly outpatient if desired
  • Educate patients and family on obstetrical care - recommend community resources to meet patient and family needs.
  • Provide immediate care to the newborn child.

This is a full-time employed position, organization qualifies for student loan forgiveness through NHSC, health benefits, malpractice insurance, and retirement offered

Job Requirement:

  • Masters Degree as Certified Nurse Midwife Required
  • Board Certification Required
  • NY State License Required
  • Spanish a plus but not required
  • Newly graduated providers encouraged to apply
