  Certified Nurse Midwife needed for community health organization in Suffolk County, LI.    

Compensation : $130000 - $135000

Job Function:

  • Outpatient office care of patients of the practice
  • Heavy prenatal panel, family planning and basic Gyn - outpatient duties only (35 hour work week)
  • ObGyn in both offices to act as supervising physician
  • See diverse array of cases and general women’s health education
  • Participate in preventative patient education
  • Opportunity to do both Obstetrics and Gynecology doing colposcopies and birth control
  • Good support from MDs that manage high risk ob and perform GYN surgeries
  • Good professional and personal life balance

Employed position with competitive compensation plan and benefits (health, dental, vision, disability), retirement plan, expenses for license/dues/CME, generous PTO plan, paid medical malpractice including tail coverage.

 

Job Requirement:

  • CNM - Certification or WHNP Board Certification
  • Masters as Physician Assistant with focus on women's health
  • NY State license
  • Bilingual language skills in Spanish preferred, not required
