Working directly with a reputable community hospital in Brooklyn, NY looking to hire a full-time Hospitalist MD.

Compensation : $200000 - $250000

Job Function:  

  • 2 Need for Nights, 2 Needs for Days (2 shift options: 7:00am - 7:00pm or 7:00 pm- 7:00am)
  • Ideally reach a 3on4off, 4on3off schedule (may need to be flexible to mix of days/nights/weekends to start)
  • 126 bed hospital, Cover 3 MedSurg Floors (1 floor with 40 pts, 2nd floor with 40pts, and third floor with 25pts) + assist with ER patients since unassigned to an attending (volume varies in ED approx. 7-10)  
  • Provide 24/7 coverage and oversight on NPs  
  • If patient codes, intensivist arrives - ICU handles central lines, no intubations required  

This is an employed position with a base salary + money for years of experience, CME money and competitive hospital benefits including malpractice coverage

Job Requirement:  

  • Residency training in Internal Medicine required (2023's encouraged to apply)  
  • Must be BC and have NY state license
