Top academic hospital in Brooklyn looking for Director of Hematology/Oncology join Cancer Center.    

Compensation : $350000 - $450000

Job Function:   

  • Department currently has 13 physicians and 13 PA's, strong and growing team with longevity, group is large enough that all physicians are subspecialized
  • Opportunity to work in clinically oriented role, build up patient panel, but have designated administrative and teaching time - mix of teaching, research, and grant writing  
  • 50% week is on medical school campus and approximately 2-days of practice at Cancer Center  
  • Support on patient side, department has 2 social works, psychiatrist, dietician, and geneticist within department and easily accessible  

This is a hospital employed position with a competitive base salary + RVU bonuses, CME money and strong hospital benefits including malpractice coverage

 

Job Requirement:

  • NY License Required

  • Fellowship Training in Hematology/Oncology Required

  • Must be either Board Certified or Board Eligible
