Community Health organization seeking a medical director for their location in Manhattan. This position is mostly administrative work, with no weekend shifts required!

Compensation : $230000 - $240000

Job Function:

  • Keep hand in clinical medicine, servicing a panel of adult-only or patients of all ages depending on training
  • Full spectrum primary care -  diagnose and treat medical illnesses, refer to specialists
  • Full time Monday to Friday  
  • Community health setting diverse patient population, normal primary and patients with more chronic conditions
  • Assist in peer review chart audits and other appropriate quality activities
  • Protected administrative time to assist in recruitment, supervision and evaluation of staff (including oversight of lab and radiology services)
  • Participate in quality improvement committee and activities
  • Attend board of directors meetings as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • State license
  • DEA
  • CSR (active or applied preferred, but not required)
  • Residency training in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Bilingual language skills in Spanish preferred, not required
