Psychiatrists are needed for a large community health organization in Brooklyn with opportunity to be remote after training.
Compensation : $225000 - $250000

Job Function:
Full time (35 hours) providing medication management to an adult only panel
15 minute med checks with 45-60 minute psychiatric evaluations, 18-20 patients per day
Provide clinical care (medication management/psych evaluations) for patients to support efforts to achieve care plan goals
Ensure appropriate transitions of care with external Article 31 providers, hospitals, etc
Reviews case records to monitor quality of care
Precept Psych NP students 1 day a week
Standard business hours, M-F
Community health setting, full age range of patients, diverse caseload
Will consider going remote after completing a training/shadowing period of 2-3 weeks
Job Requirements:
NY State license (active or applied preferred)
Board Certified Psychiatrist in New York State
Fellowship training can be considered, adult patients only
