Academic medical center in the Bronx is seeking a full-time Vascular Surgery Physician Assist for 1st Assist and Clinic work.

Compensation : $115000 - $154000

Job Function:

  • Large teaching hospital in the Bronx that focuses on ongoing education for their staff, lecture series offered each month
  • Department consists of 3 Vascular Surgeons and 1 Surgical PA
  • Work as a 1st assist, round on Surgery floor and do pre/post Op
  • Work 3 days a week doing 13.3 hour shifts
  • Organization has medical students but no general surgery residents, so PAs have opportunity to first assist when on OR rotation

1199 Unionized position, eligible for time and a half overtime, full 1199 benefits which includes health and dental at virtually no cost!

Job Requirements:

  • Masters Degree as Physician Assistant, Board Certification
  • NY State License
  • Recently graduated physician assistants encouraged to apply!
