Academic Hospital in Greater NYC Seeking Pulmonary Critical Care Physicians for Dual Pulm/CC position.

Job Description:

Compensation : $ 275000

Job Function:

  • Expect schedule to be 60% pulmonary (8am-4pm doing clinic and inpatient consults), 30% ICU (8am-4pm covering ICU) and 10% overnights (4pm-8am shift, expect 2-3 of these per month)
  • Pulmonary clinic very well run, large staff and team support  
  • Great academically-involved role with a combination of IP and OP work
  • Department comprised of 10 Medical ICU beds, 6 Surgical ICU beds and a 22 bed Step-Down unit divided into two different areas  
  • Always three attendings and 2 fellows on the floor  
  • Strong academic environment with medical students, externs, residents and a fellowship program
  • Department has subspecialists (Nephrointensivist, Infectious Disease ICU doctor, Oncology ICU doctor, etc.)

Job Requirements:

Job Requirement:

  • Active NY License

  • Fellowship training in Pulmonary/Critical Care or Critical Care Medicine

  • Board Eligibility or Board Certification is required

  • New residents graduating in the next 12 months are encouraged to apply!
