WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to work in one of the top Medical Groups in Poughkeepsie, NY who is looking to hire an RN to work in their Endoscopy Department. This is a full time Mon-Friday 830am-530pm role with n

Compensation : $40 - $45

Job Function:

  • Assigns patients and physicians to exam rooms
  • Supervise and provide nursing care to cancer patients
  • Provide basic patient care and treatments
  • Prepares daily assignment for medical support staff
  • Communicates with front desk staff as necessary
  • Prepares the patient for exams and procedures
  • Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets and physicians' instructions to patients
  • Administers medications including all types of injections, IV therapy as needed and within the scope of licensure  

Job Requirements:

  • Current New York State RN license
  • 1+ Year of RN Experience in clinical setting
  • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
