WCS Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to work as an OR First Assist within a prestigious healthcare system in Northampton, MA. This is a full time day shift position offering highly competitive pay and benefits.

Job Description:

Compensation : $ 105

Job ID : 17091

Assisting surgeon in lead role until the conclusion of the operative procedure.
Anticipating the needs of the surgical team and during an operation
Assisting the surgeon with tasks such as selecting equipment, holding open incisions, stopping bleeding, closing the incision, among many other technical tasks.

Job Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Current MA State Registered Nurse License
2 years of experience in this specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through the American Heart Association
CNOR certification required
