WCS Healthcare has an immediate need for an RN specializing in Wound Care in a well known facility located in the upper west side of Manhattan.  

Job Description:

Compensation : $ 50

Job Function:

  • Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans
  • Educate patients and families on best practices to promote healing and wellness
  • Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines
  • Coordinate with clinical team to ensure smooth recovery processes
  • Evaluate wounds and injuries for infections and other potential wound complication.
  • Liaison with Infection Control Nurse for skin and soft tissue infections and Multi Drug Resistant organisms.
  • Round with wound physicians and clinical teams; serve as liaison between wound physicians and clinical staff

Job Requirements:

Job Requirement:

  • BSN degree (strongly preferred)
  • Current state licensure as a registered nurse (RN)
  • CPR and basic life support (BLS) certifications
  • Prior experience in inpatient and palliative care (preferred)
  • Wound Care certification preferred
