WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for an ongoing assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Middlesex County, MA.  

Compensation : $48 - $53

Job Function:  

  • Maintain proper sterile field during surgical procedures    
  • Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation and document according to policy  
  • Prepare patients for surgery as requested    
  • Provide technical assistance to surgeons, OR nurses, or anesthesiologists as needed    
  • Wash and sterilize equipment using proper sterilization techniques  
  • Operate, adjust, and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation    
  • Take inventory and order surgical supplies as needed    
  •  

Job Requirements:  

  • Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program  
  • Hold Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)  
  • BLS preferred (American Heart Association)    
  • 1 year of experience as a certified Surgical Tech working in an OR setting is required  
  • Robotics, Transplant and Vascular experience necessary
