WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Surgical Technologist for an on-going assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Watertown, New York.
Compensation : $70 - $70

Job Function:
Maintain proper sterile field during surgical procedures
Count sponges, needles, and instruments before/after operation and document according to policy
Prepare patients for surgery as requested
Provide technical assistance to surgeons, OR nurses, or anesthesiologists as needed
Wash and sterilize equipment using proper sterilization techniques
Operate, adjust, and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation
Take inventory and order surgical supplies as needed
Job Requirement:
Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program
Hold Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
1-2 years of acute care experience in this specialty
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Excellent communication and customer service skills
